Sales Officer

Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer to join our technology firm’s sales team. The Sales Officer will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets in the technology sector. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of success in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities in the technology sector through market research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and requirements, and providing appropriate technology solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base.
  • Collaborate with our partners to develop and execute effective sales campaigns, promotional activities, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our technology solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and presentations to clients, addressing their specific needs and requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management, monitoring performance against targets and KPIs.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services and build brand awareness.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Business Administration, Information technology or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of technology products, services, and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
